About
Join Weston Park's Head Gardener Martin Gee on his final guided walk around Capability Brown’s pleasure grounds on a winter walk.
Martin’s family have lived and worked on the Weston Park estate since 1803 with Martin working across the gardens on the estate since his teenage years, before becoming Head Gardener in 1991.
Over the years, Martin has undertaken many restoration projects at Weston such as the Orangery with its box parterre and its vision of simplicity, the Teardrop Garden and restoring Temple Wood to Capability Brown’s original vision.
Martin has led a series of popular walks for many years and this will be his last one before he retires.
The Winter Walk will feature an in-depth look at Capability Brown’s pleasure grounds including the enchanting Temple Wood and the Formal Gardens that lie in front of the House.
