About
RAF Museum Midlands will be hosting the Shropshire Astronomical Society who are running two fabulous Stargazing Evenings.
In this exclusive out-of-hours session you can explore the stars above the RAF Museum Midlands and learn how to use a telescope and understand the constellations above us. The Stargazing evening will run from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
We will be providing some telescopes for this event however you are more than welcome to bring your own telescope/binoculars to this event if you wish and learn how to use them with some expert guidance.
You will also be able to take some time to explore the National Cold War Exhibition after dark and see our amazing collection come to life in the dark. Soak in the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant without the crowds and in the atmospheric evening light.
In the event of inclement weather an interactive talk about star gazing will be held in the lecture theatre.
Although this evening is open to all we would suggest a minimum age of 7.
