About
Welcome to The Bolthole, our beautiful lifestyle concept in the Ironbridge Gorge.
Dedicated to colour and creativity and a haven from the humdrum, it’s a place where you can escape the everyday and explore a world of art, crafts and handmade homewares. Our ‘Tester Pot’ workshops reveal some of the secrets behind these creations and give you the chance to have a go at creating beautiful things for yourself.
Inspired by our stunning surroundings, we have curated for you a unique collection of vintage furniture, fabric goods and heirloom pieces, each selected for their authenticity, integrity and style. These sit alongside gorgeous artisan homewares sourced from local independent makers, and unique Bolthole creations including Debra’s sensitively restored and re-upholstered furniture. Browse our selection of bespoke and restored pieces or be inspired to commission a special finishing touch for your home.
A joyful, colourful, engaging space – our art cafe specialises in artisan produce and provides a venue for exhibitions, demonstrations, book signings and creative interest groups. Indulge in delicious cakes and locally roasted Iron & Fire coffee or simply relax and seek inspiration from our creative book collection. A relaxed, intimate space, it's the perfect place to escape, run a meeting or support group or to hold a private creative event with friends or colleagues.
Our workshops programme has something for everyone and can be tailored for groups of 4 or more looking to celebrate a special occasion or just spend quality time together learning a new skill and having lots of fun.
With an exciting exhibition, workshop and events programme, it's a creative hub in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge.

Public Transport Directions
We are easily accessed by road from Telford, Shrewsbury and Birmingham along the M54, A5 and well-signposted local roads as well as by train (then taxi) from Telford Central Station. Buses between Bridgnorth, Telford and Shrewsbury regularly stop in Ironbridge as well as the Park & Ride service, which operates in the peak periods.
Altohugh we don’t have onsite parking, there are plenty of spaces at the Ironbridge Central (formerly Station Yard) or Museum of The Gorge car parks, both of which are only a few minutes’ walk away.
