The Last Inn is a family run bar and restaurant focused on bringing you a relaxed dining and social meeting place to enjoy our range of drinks, bar snacks and restaurant meals.

Our food influences come from our Head Chef. Using locally sourced fresh ingredients whilst helping local businesses. We use local suppliers in Newport, Fish in a box for fresh fish daily, all of our pork and meat is provided by Buttercross Farm and for all of our fresh food is supplied from Rowlands of Shrewsbury.

Our main focus has been to create a friendly environment where you can enjoy incredibly fresh food sourced locally at good value prices to feed the whole family. We also wanted to bring back the feeling of ‘The Last Inn’ which the Aston Taphouse was previously known as, back in the day the pub was known as a great drinkers place and over the years this changed as the Aston became more food focused. Good news is we’re here to bring you back that social drinks gathering by offering a great range of drinks at reasonable prices and on Saturdays we now bring you Live acoustic music from 8.45pm.
