About
Telford & Wrekin Council has partnered with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust to offer an array of free activity sessions during October half term.
From 11am to 2:30pm, participants can join in on the fun-filled activities facilitated by the trust. Think bug hunting, pumpkin painting, insect spotting, and even creating broomsticks. It's an excellent opportunity to bond with nature and learn more about the world around us.
The main aim of these sessions is to introduce more people to Telford's green spaces, encourage an active lifestyle, and help young individuals develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for nature. Each session will have a different focus, ensuring that every visit is unique and exciting.
Not only are these sessions a wonderful way to engage children and keep them entertained during the half term holiday, but they also offer an affordable option for families. With the cost of living affecting many, finding enjoyable and budget-friendly activities can be a challenge. These free sessions provide the perfect solution, allowing families to have fun without breaking the bank.
Sessions are being held the following locations;
