Telford’s much-loved Spring Into St George’s Day event is back for 2025, bringing a full day of free family fun to Telford Town Park on Saturday 26 April.
Crowd favourites The Knights of Nottingham will return to the arena with their thrilling jousting displays, alongside a host of exciting attractions and hands-on activities the whole family will enjoy.
Event highlights include:
- Birds of prey flying demonstrations
- Ferret racing
- Archery and axe throwing
- Wood carving demonstrations
- Dance workshops
- ‘Made in Telford’ marquee showcasing local talent
There will also be plenty of opportunities for children to get creative with activities from The Boardroom Café, Scrappies (using recycled materials), and Creation Station. Families can also meet friendly donkeys at Emma’s Donkeys.
As part of the lead-up to VE Day 80 commemorations in May, visitors are invited to the bandstand area to join in with 1940s-style dancing and share memories or family stories from VE Day 1945 in the Borough.
