Final Wellington Late Night announced ahead of the markets refurbishment

Wellington Market will be hosting a special late night market on Saturday 17 May 2025 (5pm–10pm) – the final event of its kind before exciting refurbishment works begin to transform this much-loved local landmark.

This vibrant evening promises live music, street food, drinks and entertainment both inside the food hall and outside on the piazza stage. Headlining the night are the Hot Jazz Biscuits, bringing their signature blend of jazz, swing, Motown, hip-hop and rock, alongside DJ Double K keeping the good vibes going.

These popular late night events have always drawn a crowd – and with major investment secured to safeguard the market’s future, the plan is to bring them back on a more regular basis once the refurbishment is complete.

Entry is just £2 per person and children go free. Last entry at 9pm, with the event wrapping up at 10pm.

The upcoming refurbishment is part of a wider regeneration programme for Wellington, supported by government funding. The improvements will restore and modernise the market buildings, securing their place at the heart of the community for the next 50 years and beyond.
