Christmas visits to Sunnycroft this December

This December Sunnycroft National Trust will welcome visitors to experience a festive visit with Father Christmas himself.  

Families can pre-book for a chance to meet Father Christmas in a peaceful, seasonal setting. 

Families can pre-book to step through the mouse hole into a whimsical world where festive preparations are underway at Sunnycroft, and delight in the sight of mice feasting, playing, and decking the halls. As a grand finale, families will visit Father Christmas himself, to share their wishes for Christmas. 

Lou Hall, Site Manager at Sunnycroft, shared her excitement: “Father Christmas has his list ready and can’t wait to see families back at Sunnycroft this December! Our enchanting take on mice getting ready for Christmas adds an extra sprinkle of festive magic to Sunnycroft’s charm.” 

Booking Details: 

• After School sessions are available from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, 6–20 December. 
• Weekend and school holiday sessions run from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, December 7–22, and on Monday, December 23. 
• Each child’s visit with Father Christmas includes a small gift; tickets cost £20 per child and £5 per accompanying adult. Pre-booking is essential. 

Returning this year, visitors to ‘Behind the Scenes’ will be able to experience the magic of Christmas at Sunnycroft in a new light. While Father Christmas is flying through the sky, adults will get a glimpse behind the scenes to discover how the National Trust’s talented team brings the festive season to life. Visitors will be able to step through the mouse hole and enter a charming world where mice prepare for Christmas. See the intricate details, clever touches, and hard work that goes into creating an enchanting Christmas experience. Though Father Christmas won't be present, it's the perfect visit for curious minds who want to peek into the magic of how it's all made.  

Behind the Scenes Tour Details: 

• Tours run from 18–20 December, with timed sessions between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm. 
• Each tour is limited to 12 guests to preserve the cozy ambiance of Sunnycroft. 
• Tickets for this exclusive experience are £5 per person, and pre-booking is essential.
