Willow Weaving Workshop with Cathy Preston
This workshop will introduce different willow weaving techniques to create birdfeeders suitable for fatballs or seed. Throughout the day, participants will make at least two different styles of birdfeeders, one of which could also be used in the kitchen to store garlic or small utensils.
Cathy Preston, who grows and weaves willow at her home near Oswestry, will lead the workshop. Cathy has a strong connection with the natural world and encourages people to unleash their creative talents and take inspiration from the natural environment. This ethos is at the core of her workshops.
