The festive spirit returns to Blists Hill Victorian Town

Many of the Christmas traditions we know and love today have their roots in the Victorian era, and at Blists Hill Victorian Town they bring the fun and joy of these traditions to life in an authentic setting for an extra special experience.

The town’s streets and buildings will be filled with traditional decorations, and festive music from a band and choir will ring out through the air. You'll be able to peruse the wares in the town’s stores and learn about Christmas past from the costumed demonstrators.

Meet Father Christmas and his magical Christmas elves in one of his festive grottos or see if you have what it takes to be a Christmas elf at Elf School. 

See the reindeer and shire horses or enjoy live entertainment including a Punch and Judy show. 

Last-minute shoppers will be able to take advantage of the Christmas Emporium to buy unique gifts including delicious foods and local-made crafts. The perfect stocking-fillers!

Join in with the Christmas cheer at our festive sing-a-long and magical stage show before making a special wish at our Wishing Tree.

There are plenty of options when it’s time for a break, including delicious Christmas menus for lunch in the cosy cafes or traditional fish and chips (cooked in beef dripping!) from the town’s fryer.
