About
Small Woods are the national charitable organisation who stand for sustainable woods alive with people, wildlife and work. Our national office and training centre is based at the Green Wood Centre in Coalbrookdale, where a selection of woodland management and green wood craft training courses are offered. Accommodation is available in the form of a wooden eco pod and wooden sleeping huts situated within the woodland. Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are available.

The Green Wood Centre is situated within walking distance of the historic Ironbridge with a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops available. The centre is also close to the many Ironbridge museums and visitor attractions.
Public Transport Directions
For those travelling by car ample parking is available at the centre and in nearby Ironbridge. Taxis and buses can be accessed from the nearby telford Central Rail Station.
