The Woodbridge Inn is located on the banks of the River Severn in the world famous Ironbridge Gorge and just a stones through away from major attractions, museums and artisan shopping that are such a lure for visitors to the Gorge. The inn also sits at the heart of the Gorge's great outdoors, located close to a range of cycle trails and walking routes.
Named after the wooden bridge that once connected the pub to the village of Coalport on the opposite bank, this heritage pub dates back to 1785.
The Woodbridge is one of the most popular gastro pubs in the area, with visitors flocking in Summer to bask on the waterfront with a cooling drink while in Autumn and Winter the Inn's open fires and cosy corners make it the perfect place to escape to.
Whether your looking for a lazy lunch, a real ale with friends, a prosecco with the girls or a Sunday lunch gathering, the Woodbridge is the perfect setting with cosy corners and nooks to squirrel away in, open plan areas full of buzz and outside a panoramic view from the large elevated decking area leading to the lush beer garden, one of the biggest and most scenic in the area.

Whilst primarily an adult's environment, children are welcome in areas away from the bar, although the pub is not very suitable for babies and toddlers in the evenings. Changing facilities and some high chairs available.

Public Transport Directions
By Rail Telford Train Station is on the main train network with services from London, the Midlands, Wales and Cheshire. From the Train Station you can take a taxi to Coalport. Alternatively if you are travelling with a bike, you can follow the Silkin Way Trail route from Telford Train Station direct to Coalport, just 5 miles and mostly traffic free.
